MediaCo was incorporated in Scotland in 1999 to provide online marketing and search services. Ten years later, having grown organically, we are proud to provide global coverage through search marketing partnerships and our South-East Asia office in Singapore.

Driven and inspired by Scotland’s outstanding track record in education, enlightenment and invention – as exemplified by James Watt with the steam engine and John Logie Baird with television – the company’s Internet experience pre-dates Google times and even Internet Explorer!

Within senior management, there is a combined online experience of over 100 years, enabling a century plus of online marketing experience to be called on to deliver client results online.

International SEO

Starting from our original office in Scotland, MediaCo’s Internet business expanded initially to two additional offices in the UK, giving coverage for SEO services across the UK and Europe.

International expansion began in 2007 through a partnership with an American search engine optimization company. The first client engagement was almost immediate, with MediaCo providing SEO consultation and services for a USA-based company within Europe.

Going East in 2008 led to the development of a second partnership, this time with a digital search marketing agency in Dubai, extending  our online marketing services to the Middle East.

The Dubai SEO presence enabled MediaCo to provide strategic emarketing solutions within the UAE that had evolved and developed within the competitive UK and USA markets.

Late 2009 saw the opening of the first international office for MediaCo in Singapore.

As the hub for Southeast Asia and the most wired nation in the world, it was the natural choice for providing online marketing services, both within Singapore itself and the surrounding countries of Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Philippines.

Singapore also features in the top 10 Scottish export destinations (£865Bn), so a local presence delivers local knowledge that an assist with online marketing in Asia for UK companies.
